About Me

Hello my name is Suzanne Santos LPC.  I have worked Four years in outpatient counseling and IIC (Intensive In-home Community counseling). I received my Masters in counseling from Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ.

I am a  certified Clinical Trauma professional and I am a Gottman Level 1 trained counselor for couples. I will also be attaining my AASECT certification to better serve my clients, the LGBTQ community and couples.

Individual Therapy

I offer therapy for individuals to work through anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and other mental health issues to help them take control of their life again.

Couples Therapy

I offer couples counseling for those who are struggling in their relationships. Together, we will work together to find the negativity in your relationship and work towards a solution.

Therapy for Teens

I offer therapy for teens age 12 - 18. Teenagers experience a lot of life changes. I provide a space for teens to talk about the changes in their life to help them navigate and grow.

Teletherapy

I offer telehealth therapy through online video chat for those who prefer to have their therapy session online. All you need is a webcam and internet connection.

FAQ

How Do I Start Therapy?

Starting therapy is easy. Simply contact my office and we will set up a time to meet. During our first session will be going over what issues you are currently dealing with. After that, we will work together to get you over adversity.

How long is a therapy session?

Typically, my therapy sessions last about 50min.

How long should I go to therapy?

This depends on the person. Some people only need therapy for a few months while others
need to attend therapy for years. Each individual is different, and It’s my mission to help my
client’s eventually leave therapy and live a life without needing it.

How often should I go to therapy?

This is different from person-to-person. Typically, people attend therapy once a week. However,
for those who have been going to therapy for a while, they might only come in once a month.
While those who are in more severe circumstances attend twice a week.

What insurance do you accept?

Currently we are out of network only. Check with your provider for out of network benefits. 

What if I don’t have insurance?

That’s no problem at all. We charge $150/ hour and accept all major forms of payments.
